Greg Barker steps down

Greg Barker is stepping down as minister at DECC and leaving politics altogether.

A genuine believer in the role renewables will have to play in the UK’s energy future,  he was a safe pair of hands after the shambles presided over by the mendacious jailbird,  Chris Huhne.

He’ll be missed.
