One day there will be no difference between waste and energy
The very idea of regarding waste as a calorific commodity rather than a troublesome cost centre is still slightly odd-ball but when one of the world's largest banks starts claiming it as it's own, we know that we are on to something. So our MD was excited by this HSBC advert at Gatwick airport. It's certainly a more wholesome message than "..we finance Mexican drug cartels.." or that "..yep, we rig the LIBOR rates..." but it also confirms the adage that where there's muck, there's brass.
The banks have a growing appetite for funding Waste to Energy plant and even if your bank isn't up with the zeitgeist just yet, you can still avoid large capex commitments if you let us help with our Energy Partnership contracts which give you a net cash saving from day one.
As always, it costs nothing to talk to us. If you've large volumes of food, biomass or clinical wastes, or even small volumes with high disposal costs, an hour of your time might be a very sound investment.
