Solar panels ‘are a blight on farmland’

We’re staggered that farmers are even allowed to continue claiming acreage payments once the land is used for energy generation but it seems this bizarre situation is about to end. Liz Truss is on the case although we are slightly sceptical of the ability of a junior minister in a coalition government to take on bonkers CAP rules made in Brussels and a powerful lobby group as the NFU. We wish her well….
